Baby healthy and soft food
2018-01-05 09:52:17
I can already imagine some of you reading along screwing up your face as you read that.  I know that these are not two ingredients that are commonly mixed together but the results are actually quite tasty. While you can simply mash the two together with a fork, a lovely mouse like consistency is reached if you puree in a blender or food processor.

The success of this mixture relies on you picking a ripe and juicy pear.  The tartness of the strawberry helps balance out the sweetness of the pear resulting in a pleasant but unusual flavor. Be mindful that using a pear that is not ripe enough will result in a sour meal that your baby will almost certainly refuse.

Mash kiwi flesh through a small amount of cottage cheese for an unusual flavor sensation. Make sure that your kiwi is so ripe that it has to be eaten almost immediately. Similar to yogurt, cottage cheese can be mixed with a variety of different fruit purees, particularly the sweeter kind. Be sure to experiment, you may just find your baby’s new favorite meal.

Most vegetables require cooking before they can be considered tasty and as a result do not make the best no-cook baby food ingredients. However, you can sneak greens with sweeter fruits such as mangos and your little baby will be none the wiser. Baby spinach can be fibrous and will need to be pureed with the mango before being served to your baby.
